I moved to Short Pump in 1991. We had a Walmart and a muffler shop with a plane in the roof. Broad Street had two lanes. It is now a growing, edgy city with shopping (oh so much shopping), a Wegmans, and more office buildings being built all the time. The schools are among the best in the state and everything you could possibly want is within a short, 3-mile radius! If you work in Richmond, your commute will likely be less than 30 minutes.
